I could not go past the feeling of being blown away by the wind in this image. You have captured a sense of fear and panic as the actors brace themselves against the wind. The dark stage lighting adds to the feeling of unease. A wonderful image.

So simple, yet you can feel the wind. The bend in the flagstick and the flapping of the flag have captured the brief with a sense of minimalism. As a golfer myself I can see how tough a day on the course this was going to be. Shoulda stayed home!!

A very simple photo which captures the concept of wind very well. Not a gale blowing but a gentle breeze, dispersing seeds from the seed pod. Fantastic clarity and capture of light on the frills, with a shallow depth of field all make for a pleasing composition. Well done!

The chaos created by the long strands of hair, blowing in the wind and glistening in the sun is counterbalanced by a sense of calm and relaxation of the two females in the picture. The photo is further enhanced by the absence of detail in any of the background which highlights and maintains interest in the subjects of the photo. A fantastic portrayal of the brief.

You can feel the cold and the wind in this photo. The snow flurries, the people huddling and protecting themselves from the fury, and the focus on the person in blue who is clearly uncomfortable all create a sense of unease. Well captured.

See how you can portray the movement of air. From a gentle breeze through a wheat field to a raging gale out to sea. Wind influences many of our activities; our daily lives, sport, landscape and seascape. We use it for sport and we use it for power. How can you portray this elusive element of our weather?

Loved this photo from the moment I saw it. It puts a smile on your face. The dog's hair, the near horizontal stands of barley and even the blurred background give a sense of quite a strong breeze. I love the depth of field used to focus on the dog and the barley in the middle foreground yet create a blurred but pleasing background. Overall an interesting and humorous photo which captures the brief perfectly.
