Zig-zags are a well-known, repeated pattern that appears in surprising places (when you train your eyes to look for them!). Lightning, pink shears, carpentry tools, architecture, street markings, the edges of ravioli – zig-zags are common patterns, but they’re also useful, in tools signs and sewing, to name but a few areas. If you haven’t considered using patterns in your photography before, zig-zags are an excellent place to start.
