What a great image with a great story behind it! I love how the moment you read that this is in Chernobyl, you understand what has happened. It projects a story and creates one in your mind. On an uncommon note, The title, "The Unfinished Symphony" is also a superb title that fits this image very well. I may be a little biased with this image as I am a pianist myself, but I'll let the crowd decide that. Thanks for entering my contest and well done!
This is another great image that tells an excellent story. "A ghost town lost in the middle of nowhere in the Ligurian countryside. An abandoned bicycle inside a house, testimony to a past that no longer exists." A great addition to this image indeed. The use of a wide angle lens helps showcase the entire scene of the room, and reinforces the story further. Black and white was used, and has made the image even more alluring. Black and white can make an image feel old and forgotten, and that has definitely been achieved here. Thanks for entering my contest and well done!
There are few images in this contest that feature decay and erosion (in this case a building) in a open-scale landscape setting. Not only this, but the composition of said landscape is also very strong. The use of this setting sets a scene for the environment of the subject building. The light is pleasing, and at a satisfying angle, which complements the composition well. Thanks for entering my contest and well done!

A very close image to top 10! There is something very interesting and alluring about this image. Something unique about it. The colour combined with the texture of the building create something unique to look at. The smashed windows are also very intriguing. I would love to see what it looks like inside! Thanks for entering my contest and well done!
