A fascinating image of rolling hills with the contours highlighted by the green strip and small trees. The hilly contours give contrast and shape to the ploughed land and it appears as a rolled out carpet containing nature and the hand of man. I like the details of the tree shadows and the fact that you have gone for a position of directly corner to corner which places the larger portion of ploughed field in the foreground. Nice work, well done and congratulations on being in my tip ten selection.
What a wonderful diagonal pattern. A pattern is all you see for a nanosecond and then you realize that you are looking at rows of cars. The car spacing is almost perfect, just a minor misalignment which is not your fault but the parking attendants.. I love your vantage point, getting full impact out of the scene.and the random red color that runs through the image. The diagonal composition truly plays an important part in this image. Well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

A perfectly timed shot. Well done, you have managed to capture the woman in exactly the right position. The late afternoon sun makes a strong contrasting monochrome image. The buildings shadow and her own shadow making an impressive diagonal composition. The figure has great rim lighting detail that provides all the information we need to know. She walks briskly with head bowed. She knows where she is going and is not waiting around. The fence helps to contain the figure so that she is completely contained by shadow and fence. You have captured the story, great job and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

For this contest I would like to see your photos where the use of a diagonal composition forms a strong framework for the image. Diagonal elements in an image often make a more dynamic statement that can imply movement and action. This type of composition can lend itself to any subject so do not limit yourself to architectural subjects. I look forward to seeing your images.
