This was the contest banner for a reason. When I first came across this photo, my thought was 'good lord' thats the very definition of dirty. The windshield wipers with their poor attempt at trying to clean the windows shows that someone was actually driving this vehicle with almost no visibility, evoking the spirit of adventure within the viewer. A great photo for a great adventure with a great story behind the lens.

The clarity and sharpness of the hands, surrounded by a blur of movement as the artist works on his bowl is one of the most visually satisfying things one can capture in a photograph. The red of his skin when juxtaposed by the yellow of the clay has resulted in a great image for composition as well as colour. Well done for a great capture!

Everyday we pass the muddy puddles without jumping in them or playing in the dirt as we once did as children, now as photographers its our duty to capture images of the dirt. This contest asks for photographs containing people or objects that are, well, not clean. Be creative in your composition.
