Landscapes with Threatening Clouds

What an awesome image! I'm glad that you entered it into the contest. If that cloud doesn't look menacing than I don't know what! The image shows just about enough of the landscape to count in this contest, tight squeeze, though.

OMG - just run! This image certainly has impact. I love that the sky shows various colours and intensity of cloud - it really enhances the impact. The wide view across the valley gives the bigger picture, which is so much better than just a small area. A masterpiece and my worthy winner. Congratulations.

The play between dark and light is fascinating and makes this image really stand out. The variations in the cloud cover and the solid dark of the sky just above the field gives it such great impact., as well as the lonesome machine in the empty landscape - standing tall against the forces of nature. Great image.

Two for the prize of one - as if one of these waterspouts wouldn't be impressive enough! There were quite a number of images with a waterscape, instead of a landscape, but I decided to overlook it, if the overall impact rectified it. Thanks for entering.

What a great image, I'm very glad that you've entered the contest. These big clouds show best over a large landscape, and the golden colour of the straw bales gives it extra impact. It looks very threatening and it's hard to believe that it didn't result in a good soaking.
