A very strong winning image, I liked this one for its power, symmetry, and uniformity. Also the fact that the mannequins are looking away from camera. I am intrigued as to what display they form, and some of the lighting is from beneath which adds to the atmosphere to the figures. Nice shallow focus aimed on the central mannequin. Great.

This is an observational shot and feel this type of photography really helps to answer this brief. The mannequin this time is just legs and they are positioned on top of a very full waste bin. Gives the impression that a person is stuck head first in a bin. Random people stood about, and a random scene, but works well. Nice and sharp.

The white mannequins standing very proudly on the steps of this Manor House look great, but they look even better with the sunset light which just comes into shot. The only slight question is what's happened to the wooden chair on the left? Nice use of ISO 100 to keep the image as high a quality as it deserves, well done.
I think I was expecting to see more images like this one, with piles of discarded mannequin body parts, in weird and wonderful shapes and places. But this hasn't been the case, so when I came across this shot, I thought it worked really nicely with the blue mannequin and its pose. The side light of the sun too is great.
Everything about this shot says New York! Reflections have been such a large part of this competition, and this shot uses a reflection of such intense skyscrapers and blue sky so perfectly. The fabric at the bottom of the mannequin looks like it could be mist and part of the reflection. Nicely framed shot, and a moment in time caught perfectly.

What better subject for a portrait than one that doesn't move, get impatient when you're fumbling with your camera, or need buying lunch as a thanks for their time? Mannequin photography occupies some strange hinterland between portraiture and still life, and can say just as much about our culture more generally, as it does about the world of fashion that brought the mannequin into existence in the first place.
I wanted to comment on this shot as raises questions for me more than anything. What is this mannequin doing in the middle of a lake. How long has it been there? Who put the high viz vest on it? Think it works well in the centre of the frame. It looks sharp, but might normally need more than one 80th of a sec if holding camera by hand.
This image almost made it to the top 10 for me, as it is a great moment of interaction of the children and the mannequin. When photographers try to make the mannequin look more human, the image is so much more effective and interesting, and this image is definitely that. Nice natural light helps create a natural moment.
