In my opinion this image represents the flower and plant features of the large Convolvulaceae family, Ipomoea genus (Common Morning Glory) and my intent with the contest very well. The subtle diagonal composition is used with great effect. The pin sharp detail of the base of the trumpet shape supports the "flow of light" from inside the flower. The angle of the shot emphasizes the star shaped light centre without suffering over-exposure. Congratualations with an excellent photo.

This photo attracts the attention. Pinsharp close-up of a side view of the purple Morning Glory exhibiting the structure of the flower petals. The depth of field setting and lighting ensured a dark background emphasizing the subject. Thank you for an excellent contribution to the contest. Great photo.

Unique angle and soft lighting of this blue Morning Glory emphasize the features and structure of the flower. The bottom up approach is refreshingly different. The combination with the different stages of the buds adds to the story of the photo. Thank you for an excellent contribution to the contest. Well done.

Very interesting and unique application of external lighting on a flower naturally exhibiting flow of light from inside. The spotlight backlits the subject creating the opportunity to balance the normally over-exposed centre of the flower. Thank you for an excellent contribution to the contest. Well done.

The composition of this photo attracted my attention. Interesting lighting of the normally over-exposed core of the top flower. The leaves have a varying heart-shape indicating a different cultivar. Thank you for an excellent contribution to the contest. Well done.

This eyelevel perspective on the blue Morning Glory emphasizes the trumpet shape and the integration of the "yellow flames" from the central "light source" Observing this from the side is realy special. The sharpness of the close-up shot indicates good depth of field setting. Great photo.

The angle of this shot captured a unique shape of the unfolding blue Morning Glory. The soft light at the central core is just enough to emhasize the star shape and allow a peak at the white style. Congratulations with a great Photo.
