Multiple Squares (in colour)

What is not to love about this image!! I could study it forever and enjoy the different expressions of the little sparrows. What a great shot that was, as you surely couldn't have directed them into position. The squares are obviously part of a fence or trellis and make a natural place to put up a birdfeeder. OMG - that brings back some memories!! Thank you so much for entering this image, it is straight forward to the brief and the idea and composition work so well. We forget sometimes that these discs were the latest in technology not that long ago, now they're obsolete.

The idea, composition, lighting and the clarity of the image are second to none - that's why this is my clear winner from the moment I saw it! The idea, composition, angle and lighting are absolutely outstanding and make for a really striking macro image. I absolutely loved it from the moment I saw it.

Now, here we have something really different. I would love to own such bag; it is such an unusual design and make - nothing for shrinking violets! The timeless black/white chequerboard came up quite a few times, but nothing as striking as this image. I am so glad that you've entered this image, as the composition and lighting is great in its simplicity and clarity, something that was unfortunately missing in other entries.
