You and only a very few others (too few!) actually cared to read what the contest was about and entered what I had asked for. I find your image extremely captivating, I love the post-processing, the fine, subtle textures, the lighting and the soft contrast. One can’t take the eyes off the subject. Beautiful, rich B/W. I hope others will be inspired by your image, and will understand (once and for all) that working on an image, with dedication, time and passion, pays off. Skills and hard work make you a photographer; clicking a button on an app, not much. Congratulations on your well deserved first place, and thank you for delighting us with your wonderful image. This contest is for your portrait photos of one person, edited to look like a painting by adding just a little bit of textures. Only one person can be in the photo. Both colour and black and white photos are accepted. Judging will be based on originality, creativity and skills.
