The super-wide fisheye effect is not to everyone's taste, but for me the effect works well here, and the image stands out as being a little bit different. The distorted perspective has the effect of drawing the eye into the image, to explore this delightful living space. The decoration and interior design looks traditional and is a delight to view. Well done on your top ten placing.
There were relatively few black and white entries in this contest, and this one caught my attention. Like the room layout, the composition is neat and well-ordered, which creates a great mood in inviting living space. You have done well to balance the lighting, as it can be challenging with interior shots containing windows, especially as we have here with the camera facing the brighter natural light through the windows. The black and white conversion works well, with good contrasts and well defined elements throughout. Well done on your top ten placing.
Whilst this contest is for interiors, what initially attracted me to this image is the way the eye is drawn through the room to the view through the large windows, presumably the intention of you as the photographer, but also that of the architect. The image has been captured at just the right time of day, allowing the golden hue of the artificial lights inside to contrast nicely with the blur-hour light outdoors. The wide angle has captured an extensive view of the interior, but any resulting distortions have been overcome, to leave a natural shot that is very pleasing to view. Congratulations on your third place finish.
For me the key to the success of this image is the capture of the light streaming through from outside to gently illuminate the room. This has created a tranquil and calming mood. The bedroom itself has a feel of simplicity and naturalness with a fresh airy feel. The soft colours of the wood, paintwork and soft furnishings all work well together. A great image, well done on your top ten placing.
This is a great capture of a beautiful home interior. What I especially like is that after we have explored the main living space, we get inviting glimpses into further living spaces to tempt us to further explore what lies beyond the space we can see. Lighting has been well balanced with everything retaining a natural look. Great work, well done on your top ten placing.
What a delightful place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon! The composition makes this sunny room look especially inviting. With two thirds of the image showing the interior, with the open door calling us through to the outside. The light has been especially well captured, with everything looking naturally sunny and bright. Colours are vibrant to complete the scene. Congratulations on your second place finish.

In this contest I would like to see your photos showing the interior of a home. Images can show any room in any type and style of home. Photos should show a view of the room with associated furniture, soft furnishings etc, rather than a close-up detail. People can be included but must not be the main subject. Please only show interior views of residential buildings, no exteriors and no other type of building. Entries can be in colour or black and white. I look forward to seeing your images.
A great image, which is sadly lacking any location information in the image description. It is therefore not possible to know what type of interior we are viewing, but it looks to possibly be a rather high-end glamping structure? Whatever, the wide angle viewpoint brings a great perspective to the shot, as we can see the entire space, along with a tempting glimpse of the surrounding landscape outside. I love the dapples of sunlight highlighting little areas of the walls, floor and furnishing, helping make this look a very special and calming place to spend some time. Great work, well done on your top ten placing.
