The Colour Red with Frost or Snow

This photo has a few other colors going on and I almost did not give it the thought it deserved. However upon further examination I grew very fond of it. In the contest itself it is a very unique image. When I pick it apart the layers in all the textures and colors become a fabulous thing! And the red asked for in the brief takes on an almost lethal form in an otherwise peaceful photo. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for entering!

With many photos that had other dominant colors I simply did not give them much consideration in this particular contest but this photo was different. The light snowfall softens up the color of the horse just enough and the red is very crisp and clean to give it "pop" factor it needed. Well done, thank you for entering!

There is now denying the wow factor of this photo. The colors really pop! And the subject matter...dazzling! You have got this lovely light snow fall and this nice soft peaceful background; even a little bird back there. Then there is this calm and ever so majestic dog with this oddly majestic child! I love how this photo is both soft and yet has the "popping wow factor" that I was so hoping to see in this contest. It is almost painting like and has a slight distortion from the snowfall that I feel puts more emotion in the photo. Very well done, thank you for your entry!
