Trees in Black and White

It was so hard to split the top 5 and this was so close to being my winner ! The path acting as the lead in , and walking you through the forest works really well. Perfect atmospherics with the background fading into mist and another image with delicate beautiful tonality. Well Done !

This image has a still and a calm to it that makes me stop and wander through it for a while. Love the tones used and the sense of mystery the fog brings in. I could sit here a while and enjoy the view....but wish it always looked like this. Beautiful

I never knew how hard it was to be the judge ! This is my winning image because I just loved the angle and the feeling of the image. My eye is drawn into it and flows upwards with the trunk perfectly. On top of that the tonality of the image is beautiful. Very nicely done !

I love the light and the tones in this image and another one of the top 5 for me that could all have been my winner. i like the detail and light in the shadows that do not appear to be HDR induced. Beautiful Image !
