Many thanks to all those who accepted my challenge and entered this contest. I chose a subject for which I felt you were unlikely to already have something to submit, so I know it will not have been a simple task for many! I hope you enjoyed it and may I wish everyone good health and more fun in 2020. Some submissions met the brief better than others and I have rewarded those that showed originality as well as photographic prowess.
This eye-catching composition (if you don't mind the pun) focuses on the 20:20 vision theme adopted by many in a kind of un-nerving way. For added relevance, there is a 2020 overlay, indicating that this one was created specifically for the contest. I may have restricted the overlay to the face only and, if possible, attempted to distort it around the contours. Maybe that's asking too much for such small reward, as the effort was sufficient to win my admiration and this competition anyway. Full marks for originality and avoiding the temptation to submit something that had 'been prepared earlier'.
An interesting subject, modified to qualify to qualify for this contest (who said "photos cannot lie"?). I chose this because it was so different and the detail maintains interest. The out-of-focus background completes the setting well. Thank you for taking the time to submit an entry into my contest. I hope you feel that the effort made it all worth while!

Another good interpretation of the brief. This is a simple shot containing loads of detail. The fact that the subject may be of high value (?) makes little difference here. I would have changed the date to "20" or let it advance to "1" and waited for the seconds hand to reach the top. Otherwise, time well spent!

This is a great composition. I liked the way that the visible spots on each pair of dice add up to twenty. Placed over the display of fireworks, suggests that we have something to celebrate (let's hope so!). You should have taken a little more care when removing the background of the dice - the selection included some of the spots which I found distracting where the background comes through.
The title says it all. A simple shot, yet strikingly colourful and artistically shaped. How could anyone miss it? I dislike the inclusion of the credit in the bottom corner and feel that the question is an unnecessary part of the composition. However, to answer that question: "Just enough to place into my Top Ten".

We are now in the year 2020, so for this contest I would like you to use your imagination to present 2020 as you see fit. Your photos do not need to be related to the year. Photos must portray “TwentyTwenty” one way or another, such as 20x20, 20:20, etc. Please do not enter photos of T20 cricket, and also try not to be too obscure. I wish you well in creating some original shots.
Many of us will have seen a phoropter before, even if we didn't know what it was called, but how many would have ever thought to take a photo of one? This shot gives us the chance to study a phoropter at close quarters and wonder about its mode of operation and what the readings might mean. With a smartphone to hand, there's no excuse for missing an opportunity like this, and capture a good position in my contest also. Congratulations for keeping a sharp eye and submitting an interesting shot.

A thought=provoking portrait, in natural lighting, that is quite different from all the other entries.. This will be a beautiful memory of an innocent little tot in peaceful sleep (it won't always be like that). One is left to ponder not only about the sex and name of the individual but also of the life they may have ahead and what such a young mind may be trying to make sense of in our complex world. The label on the outfit was not necessary, as the circumstances are clearly explained in the title. Enjoy the moment and start preparing for those to come!
