Blades (in colour)

Thankyou to everyone who entered this challenge. another toughie to judge with so many outstanding images.

This image really stood out for me. I think the sense of humour hit me first. I should not like to have a tattoo removed here. I love the old saws and the wood handles, so much detail. Very nicely lit and composed. The painting on the swords is lovely, nice and colourful and it was the words on the saws that got you a very well deserved 1st place. I love this composition. So carefully thought out. It is a very neat and tidy image. The lighting for this image is well balanced, lighting up where it needs to. I like the balance of colour and the fact that the green handled scissors match the green apple. A lovely image, congratulations on Judge 2nd place. Thankyou so much for entering.
