This is a most effective image, I love that the fore ground and most of the image is dark with just a small are in bright sunshine with the coloured flags most effectively reflected in the puddle. in a lot of ways it is a dark image but the brightness of the bunting lifts it giving hope, perfectly titled. A fabulous street scene, very strong with loads of energy and movement. The way the sun is shining though the flags making them semi transparent giving an almost ethereal feel. As you come down through the image the flags become more opaque giving a strong band of colour, I love the composition and feel of this image. What a great image, well composed and set up. Henry looks very fed up with Jubilee celebrations (as many of us were).
