This is amazing. A great irregular pattern repetition and colourful. You always get that one though that does not want to conform. The one right at the front with his head down has broke the repetition without spoiling the image. Love it. Congratulations on Judge 2nd place and thankyou for entering.
I really like the contrast between the walls and the staircase. The yellow walls make the patterns and structure really pop. It has been composed really well and has produced a very striking image. Thanks to everyone who entered this contest. It has been a difficult one to judge with so many amazing entries, so well done to everyone. This image really appealed to me. I love how the pattern has been broken with the workers. The colour of their clothes also adds a tiny bit of vibrance. The composition is good especially how the workers are on a diagonal. In this contest I would love to see your colour photos that show repeating patterns. When composing your shot you could choose to emphasise the pattern or break it. An example of breaking a repeating pattern would be a tray of black buttons with one white button strategically placed. Whether you choose to emphasise or break the pattern, the subject matter is entirely your own choice. Please only enter colour images. I hope you have fun with the contest.
