Thank you for sharing this image. I feel that it demonstrates very well the impact of the colour red - just a little can have a big effect on an image. I love the confident simplicity here and feel the image is beautifully seen. I appreciate the precision in composition, form, line, colour and texture - many of the things we try to capture in a two dimensional single frame. Congratulations on your top ten position.
Thank you for sharing this image which jumped out at me right away. The lighting, colours and composition with the gun are all working together for great impact, but the convincing facial expression really makes this image for me and is of course appropriately exaggerated by the colour red. Congratulations on your top ten position.
Thank you for sharing this image. I appreciate the fresh perspective and point of view on a familiar and often photographed subject. The red negative space feels like the potential for flight. I like the variation in tone from top to bottom and the colour harmony of the plane and the sky. Congratulations on your top ten placing.
Thank you for sharing this image which stands out as a different perspective on the traditional red flower image. The texture seems to jump out of the image; the curled petals, visible dust and deep vein lines in the petals bring an interesting balance of something coming to life for the viewer whilst in decline in itself. Congratulations on your top ten placing.
Thank you for sharing this image. I absolutely love the composition; a perhaps unexpected landscape scene, framed with what feels like a subtle confidence and perhaps a sense of humour. The colour red is striking and makes me smile; what should be the least interesting element in a scene of natural beauty brings all the visual drama. I love how the subtle colour details visually connect the toilet block to the rest of the scene; the blue strap and white box against the sky, and the stone coloured door above the beige step. I love images that are unexpectedly beautiful and this one certainly is. I'd be happy to have this on my wall. Congratulations on second place.
Thank you for sharing this image. It struck me immediately as a beautiful and masterful photograph. The lighting is exquisite. The composition is careful, balanced and draws my eye around the frame. The toning is dramatic and painterly but still authentic to the subject. Congratulations on third place.
Thank you for sharing this image. As well as being technically impressive at capturing light trails, I appreciate the visual storytelling in the image as you have juxtaposed the trails with the garage name. I also appreciate the dramatic placing of the lines and the variety of form within them, as well as the simple red and yellow colour palette. Congratulations on your top ten placing.
Thank you for sharing this image which immediately jumped out at me. It's a beautiful, complex, layered and dramatic celebration of both colour and photography; capturing a decisive moment no less in a literal celebration of colour. I love the concentration of red in the centre, spilling out into varying and mixed tones of blue and yellow. Overall, I love the perspective and composition which bring such a depth of storytelling to the image. Congratulations on first place.

Thanks for sharing this image. I really like the combination of the figure and the painting and the colours between the two. The shutter speed is very slow and I'm not sure how intentional it is but I like the effect of the painterly blurring of the left arm into the background of the painting. For me I would prefer a straightening of the painting, but I appreciate the composition of the figure in front of the lighter stripe.
Thank you for sharing this image. I really like how unusual the scene is. The stillness of the play equipment contrasts nicely with the movement of the snow. The red is striking again the while but also subtle under the snow, giving colour depth to the image while having a small colour palette. I find myself wishing the composition was a little more central at the lower half, meaning I think that you'd have to have stood a little to the right. Nonetheless I find the image striking.

Thank you for sharing this image. I love the bold pop of reds against the natural tones and the blue of the sky. The little touches of white in the tech is a nice balancing point. The composition is dramatic; people moving against tall city buildings with a feel of a stage backdrop - the drama of the street.
