I love this photo mainly because of all of the birds that are silhouetted and in front of the moon, but I also like the orange-colored moon as well!
It is always so cool when there are this many birds in one flock, it is even cooler when you get to see this happen in real life!
So nice job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Eighth Place!
Thanks for entering my contest.
This photo is so cool!
This architecture is so interesting and beautiful. It looks like you took it in some kind of red cave or something.
What is even better is how the red moon blends in perfectly with the red architecture! That is by far the best thing about this photo.
The lights are great too because the lights show so much more of the architecture but they also cast shadows which make this photo even better!
So fabulous job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for 10th Place!

Your photo here is really good and I really love it.
What a great job you did on getting a perfect shot of this robin calling!
I really love how you lined up the moon perfectly to where this robin was and got it exactly in the moon, this lets you see it perfectly!
The dark blue, blue hour sky really shows in this photo and makes it really pretty since the only other colors in this photo are white and black!
It is cool how you can see the robin so sharply for it being this dark out.
So awesome job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Fifth Place!
Thanks for entering my contest.
This photo you have here is just a normal photo of the moon between some mountains but what is so fascinating about it is all of the strange colors! First of all the moon is a weird orangey color, the mountains are a turquoise color, the sky is a very light magenta color, etc. I don't know if I have ever seen a photo with so many weird colors in it!
So nice job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Sixth Place!
Thanks for entering my contest.
I love how you put these photos together!
Composites are fun to make, they have to be done right though, and this one here is done very well.
I love how you made it look like your husband is standing on the clouds.
One thing I wouldn't have thought is that it does look very much like he is hanging the moon. I thought of that it looks like he is holding the moon but I didn't think about that he looks also like he could be hanging it as well!
I like the misty atmosphere of this photo, it makes it look mysterious and cool.
So awesome job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Fourth Place!

This photo you have here is very cool and well done.
Anytime anyone ever takes a photo where something is silhouetted in front of the moon, unless it is terrible quality, I like it. There is just something really interesting and unique about it. Most of the time people will just take pictures of something like branches and leaves in front of the moon but when they do something out of the ordinary, it is extraordinary!!!
So with all that being said, I absolutely LOVE this photo you have here. You did such a perfect job blending the two photos together. The moon is so bright that you can see every single stick and twig and you can see the stork perfectly plus you can also see a baby stork in the nest! I love how the moon is orange because this makes this photo so much better.
I am glad that you were able to blend these two photos together so well because this photo wouldn't have been the same if the moon would have been out of focus.
Awesome job!

This photo is a very unique photo with many beautiful colors.
For being nighttime, I'm surprised that there were this many colors! Even if this photo is very saturated there still would have had to been lighter shades of these colors.
I love the windmills and how you got one of the blades (not sure if that is the proper name) right over the moon, making this photo a perfect fit for this contest!
The clouds are also really nice and I like how many different shapes and sizes there are.
So nice job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Third Place!
Thanks for entering my contest.
This photo is really nice!
The main thing that I love about this photo is the beautiful, smooth, pinkish colored moon in back of the bird! It is like beautiful dim spot light to make the bird show out so much!
Cormorants are such interesting birds. I don't know much about them, but I can just tell by how they look that they are really cool birds.
Another thing that is cool about this photo is how it is not so dark out so you can see everything, but still it is all in silhouette.
So good job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Seventh Place!

As I am writing this review I am more and more blown away the longer that I look at this photo.
If I would have had to take 1,000 guesses as to what my first place photo would be for this contest, I never would have came up with such a crazy photo.
I love how you were able to capture this photo with the snail's head in the middle of the moon.
I also love the blue color all throughout this image. I call this color blue "The Nighttime Blue Color" because this type of the color blue is very unique and shows up a lot at night.
I never knew that snails have such huge mouths (if that U-shaped thing even is its mouth)! The snail's mouth is one of the weirdest things about this photo.
It's really nice how you got this snail to be so huge when in reality I'm sure that this snail was tiny, it really worked out great because since the snail is the main subject, it should be huge after all!
There are so many things that I like about this photo that I don't even have time to write down all of them, but those things above are the main things that I like about it.
So great job on this photo and taking a photo good enough to be my First Place Winner!!!

I love your photo here! There are so many beautiful colors.
The flowers are great with how they are really close to the moon, making this photo fit the brief perfectly.
I like how the purple flowers match the purple sky, this makes the two blend nicely.
The moon is beautiful with how it is golden and such a THIN crescent! You almost never see the moon this thin.
Everything is beautiful about this photo. The moon, the flowers, the sky, the clouds, and the colors everywhere.
So fabulous job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Second Place!

For this contest I want to see your photos of things beside or in front of the moon. This could be any subject such as a plane, birds, etc. Your photos do not have to show things directly in front of the moon, as long they are fairly close to it. Photos can be in colour or black and white. I hope that you have fun with this contest.

I can't help but almost laugh every time that I see this photo! It is just TOO funny!!!
This photo is one of those photos that is so simple but so good. All there is, is an eagle, the moon, and the sky. With just these three simple things, this photo looks really cool.
I love how you captured this eagle so still and suspended in flight! He looks like can't get over that moon so much that he won't even fly anywhere else!
What I love the most about this photo (and what probably everyone else does too) is the fact that this eagle looks PERFECTLY like it is yelling at the moon! I'm glad that you pointed this out in your title because that way just incase anyone doesn't notice, they will now! You got so lucky with this shot! You couldn't have gotten it better. It looks like he is super mad and "yelling at the moon" like you said. Awesome job!
