Water with Mountains

You can feel the crisp and clean winter air by just looking at the photo. A winter wonderland in nature pure. wonderful clear colours and I like the fact that the water is partially frozen, it makes it all the more authentic and realistic.

An image for a day dreamer, surely. the atmosphere is palpable and wonderfully composed. Just enough mist, just enough reflection and it's perfect harmony. It's amazing what beautiful places we have in England, there are too many people who don't know. Wish I was there. thank you.

An oasis of peace and tranquility, wonderfully captured in this 'blue' image. the harmony in the colours and shapes is exemplary, I couldn't help but fall in love with it straight away. It was well worth taking the risk of sticking to shades of one colour. Congratulations, you are my worthy winner.

Moraine Lake featured heavily in this contest, it wasn't easy to decide which one was my favourite. the decider was the sunlight on the tops of the mountain, colouring them golden. the reflection of this gold brings the image to life, as well as the tiny canoe.
