Robert Harding Picture Library, Founder

I started photography at the age of 12 and at 18 worked in advertising studios in London in the 1960s.

But my real passion was for travel photography so in 1972 I set up Robert Harding Picture Library specialising in Travel, Nature, World Cultures and the Environment. Since then it has gone from strength to strength and now with the addition of video it is a world leader in its field. During this time I was a founding member of BAPLA (British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies) and a past chairman. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society (FRPS)
